Q: How do I apply online for a job?

You can search for jobs from any page of this site. Simply choose your area of interest to review open positions, and apply directly for positions that match your qualifications and interest.

Q: Positions for stores in my area are not listed online. Why? And how can I apply?

Sign up for RSS feed of jobs or create a profile and job agent within our Advanced Job Search function. Based on the criteria you select, you will receive notification from Express when a position opens that matches your interests.

Q: I applied for a position via the website a couple of days ago. What happens next?

Upon submitting your resume/application, you should have received an electronic acknowledgment that your information had been received. If there is an open position that matches your qualifications, we will contact you to schedule interviews with the hiring team.

Q: Do you have any part-time jobs?

Yes. In fact this is a great way to start your career with Express! We have a number of part-time employment opportunities. Additionally, we offer full-time and part-time seasonal positions at some of our stores, during our back-to-school and holiday seasons.

Q: How do I find out if there are positions available in a specific store?

All you have to do is ask the store, that is. Our stores are responsible for handling their hiring needs individually. Putting the responsibility at the local level helps ensure we're hiring from the community, and encourages a more personal interaction for candidates. If you're interested in a sales, stock or store management position, visit the Retail Store Job Opportunities section. You can also apply online now or create a profile and job agent and based on the criteria you select, you will receive notification from Express when a position opens that matches your interests.

Q: Does Express promote from within?

Yes. We make every attempt to fill open positions by promoting talent from within our organization. Having our Associates continue to advance their careers, grow and be successful not only indicates the current success of our business, it also helps guarantee our success in the future.

Q: If I don't see a position that matches my interest or qualifications at this time, can I still submit a resume for future consideration?

Yes. In our Advanced Jobs Search function, you can create a profile and then create a job agent to tell us what type of position you are looking for. Based on the criteria you select, you will receive notification from Express when a position opens that matches your interests.
